The Popular Show Season Four Reveals the Soldiers Table

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, fresh DM Brennan Mulligan has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a colorful mix of personalities, and a gripping narrative showcasing celestial beings, demons, and sinister influences increasing in strength within Dol-Makjar.

Warning: Revealing details for Episode 3 of Campaign 4 follow below.

The Soldiers Table Revealed

The latest chapter concluded with a dramatic pause and presented the first table of characters who will split off from the main group to undertake their separate journey, distinct from the remaining groups.

The combat-focused team features Teor (brought to life by Travis Willingham), Thimble (Laura), the strong-willed figure (Whitney), Wicander Halovar (the player), and Kattigan Vale (the actor).

Why Split the Party?

Considering an extensive roster, it was evident from the outset that keeping everyone at a single group would be unworkable.

That’s why, the opening chapters of this story serve as an Overture, weaving together the characters’ stories before splitting into three smaller tables: Warriors, Planners, and Questers.

Characteristics of the Combat Party

According to the DM, the warrior group is for participants who enjoy a traditionally charged fight-heavy gameplay experience where non-violent answers are few and far between.

Upon first impression, characters like the squeamish cleric the cleric might appear out of place, but the actions of the third episode show why these five characters are perfectly fit for the warrior group.

Why They Must Go

For one thing, the party understands precisely where to go next after a intense first encounter with the antagonists.

An old friend of Thjazi Fang—whose death kicked off the campaign’s events—used The Crow Keepers for his own means, breaking into the hidden lair, assaulting the character, and taking all the powerful objects to sell off.

The antagonist then cleared his debts and fled to a secure base in the remote area, above the city, with Teor’s brother close behind.

Individual Reasons

Additionally, each character has a personal reason to depart the metropolitan area:

  • Thimble, as the companion and trusted friend, wants revenge.
  • Kattigan knows the region and warns that it is a nasty location.
  • Tyranny and The healer, having defied his house’s orders to eliminate Teor and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
  • Yet, their position as prominent individuals in the influential clan could assist the group enter places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Moreover, The grateful character swore a unbreakable promise to The cleric for his rescue and will now accompany him anywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

In addition, all of them are wanted by the rulers that govern the city for a range of causes, making remaining behind dangerous:

  • The agile adventurer and Kattigan are known criminals.
  • The warrior and Wicander turned against House Halovar and the legion of demons they are aligned with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by the family.

This means them little choice but to journey toward the remote area in search of the traitor.

What’s Next?

Based on episode three’s Cooldown, we discover that the combat party will not appear next week, leaving the remaining eight cast members to form the Questers and Strategists parties.

Viewers can look forward to finding out which adventurers will be assigned to which table in Campaign 4’s final introductory chapter, streaming live on next week.
